The Power Flow Systems Exhaust Cowl Fairing for Cessna 172's was designed in house and is an FAA approved part. This fairing was designed and developed in conjunction with our tuned exhaust systems. With cooling in mind, it was designed to reduce the opening in the lower cowling where the factory exhaust exits. The air that enters through this opening reducing the pressure differential decreasing the aircraft's baffle efficiency. The PFS Exhaust Cowl Fairing is aerodynamically efficient and will help keep the temperature under the cowl cooler during high angle of attack, high power settings.

Power Flow Systems testing shows:

• reduced CHT temperatures by up to 20 degrees
• 10 degree oil temperature reduction

Our Exhaust Cowl Fairing is made of fiberglass using a fire retardant resin. It is only applicable for Cessna 172 models equipped with the Power Flow Systems - Classic Tailpipe. This part is finished in a high temp, matte white paint and is printable.
